The EMPA acts as a neutral convener between AI developers, studios, brands, unions & policy makers, facilitating dialogue about this technology's impact on the creative workforce.


By hosting these cross-sector discussions, we aim to reduce harm to this labor force and encourage action from groups to preserve craft-mentorship and work opportunities through partnership on our workforce development and nonprofit production initiatives.

James Braun is a digital marketer with a background in leading campaigns for education, mental health, and sustainability-focused brands. Motivated by the growing risks A.I. poses to creative labor, James launched this initiative to create access to professional commercial work for filmmakers. This initiative helps brands tell authentic stories through ethical, high-quality production.
